where creativity meets curiosity

Bristol Waldorf School offers an enriching setting for children aged 3-11 to learn, create, and thrive. Our Heads, Hands and Heart approach develops children’s intellectual and artistic curiosity, supports their emotional well being, and promotes practical skills through experiential learning. We offer a holistic and children-centred alternative to mainstream education. At Bristol Waldorf School, each child is encouraged to develop their unique abilities.

Our Parent and Child groups offer enchanting weekly sessions of play, connection and discovery, in our beautiful and nurturing environment. Through informal morning sessions, children develop essential social skills like cooperation and group participation. Carers and children connect meaningfully, fostering a sense of community and growth.

In our Kindergarten, children experience a secure and unhurried environment designed to foster their natural love of learning. Mixed-age groups support social and emotional development, while through play and exploration children embark on a gentle introduction to school and the broader world.

Our children-centred approach ensures that the curriculum aligns with each stage of development. This philosophy supports a holistic education that fosters intellectual, emotional, practical and social development. Learning is experiential and incorporates music, movement rhythm and play even while tackling academic subjects.

Through the beautiful moments and toughest times, Bristol Waldorf School has been a blessing for our son and to our lives as a family. The nurturing, loving care, kindness and support has been second to none.
